The Languages Department at St. Mary's University invites applicants for an adjunct faculty position for the Fall and Spring semesters, starting Spring 2019.  Candidates must have an M.A. in German, with evidence of a strong teaching background. Experience of at least two years of demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level is strongly preferred. Teaching responsibilities in the Spring semester are: one section of second semester of introductory level of German language, and one section of second semester of intermediate level German;  in the Spring semester, the responsibilities include teaching one section of the second semester of introductory level of German, and one section of second semester of intermediate German language. Candidate will also be responsible for administering and grading exams, and for holding office hours.
